Our generation are the so called Millenials kids, we are like latchkey kids and children to baby boomers and generation X. We millenials are kind of isolated because we stay connected electronically. We don´t send letters anymore like the baby boomers and generation X did. And we don´t socialise as much anymore, we play or hang out through our computers. While the baby boomers live to work and reward themselves with material things,our generation have an urge to buy the latest things to stay modern.
What´s unique for our generation is the amount of knowledge needed for our everyday life for example we need to know how computers work and other technical things.
Today we have a more stressful environment, modern workplaces require more education and we have to strive for the top all the time because we are never satisfied with the thing we got. We want to be economic independent and have a successful career. Our generation dreams of a long happy life with a lot of material things.

Take care of a summer cat that has been thrown away
We are from the millennia's, also named the generation Y. Apart from the technical revolution we live in a whole different world than 50 or 100years ago. We have totally different values. In our society we no longer treat women different from men, or at least we're trying not to. We keep the environmental problems close our heart, we read about them every morning in the newspapers and discuss them in school. A life without cellphones and internet is not imaginable for us. We are aware of our rights, and prepared to fight for them. Love and sex is something we choose, not something we get pushed into. And we love our friends as much as we love our parents. And of course we appreciate and respect the ones how gave us birth but we want to make our own rules.
How we feel, if were sad, to happy or lonely is important.
We like to think that we are depressed if we feel sad more than ones a year. The teachers like to think that we have aggression problems if we raise our voice or feel angry ones. The mental issues are growing or maybe it’s taken more seriously in these days.
Environmental problems will mint us until someone fixes them, until we start acting totally different. And that salvation is so far away that were not going to experience it.
Our dream is to some day see a change so big that the millennia’s will get remembered in history. And it is to prevent mental issues, make the Middle east democratic, or save the polar bears. For us it would be okay if only we made a sad face happy, made a hungry child full or take care of a summer cat that’s get thrown away and left alone on the street. Every little change makes the world a better place, and if everyone made this little change, maybe the whole world would smile one day.

We are more spoiled than earlier generations
We are more spoiled than earlier generations, we have more technology, we have access to a lot of information, about anything, trough internet compared to earlier generations. We are more aware about what is going on in the world and we know it´s a global world.
What's unique with our generationsis that we have more technology. We take things for granted. We are good at multitasking and we know our own worth.

Every generation is unique!
Our generation is more relaxed in the way of living. For example we don’t get as stressed out by the technology as maybe the Baby boomers, because we grew up with it and are used to it. Maybe it’s easier to learn Generation X about todays technology than it is to learn the Baby boomers, because they’re older and grew up with the paper and pen, and not a computer. It’s harder to learn an old dog sit than a middle aged dog!
Every generation is unique, ‘cause they all bring something new. Baby boomers where the law-followers, Generation X where the rebels and Millennials are more modern, relaxed and are the ones who rewrite the rules.

Our parents lived to work, but we work to live
Our parents lived to work, but we work to live. We like to enjoy our spare time and we are quite obsessed with technology. The babyboomers they are getting used to this new technology based lifestyle.
We often multitask and that might affect the quality of our work, but we honestly don't care because our main priorities include being our friends and sitting by the computer.
We are really lazy and that is something we need to improve. We believe that we are less lazy than the Americans.
We want to be wealthy.

Our generation is different
Our generation is different because we tend to be more nurtured as we grow up. This makes us spoiled and we tend to expect everything to be given to us on a golden plate. It is however important to mention that not all the individuals in our generation are like this.
We are unique in such a way that we are dependant and use a lot of more technology than the other generations. This is off course only natural given the advances in technology during our time.
The issues of our generation are unemployment and the environmental threat. In Sweden, about 25% of the youth are unemployed and not to mention that if we do not change our society, and our way of living drastically soon. It will have enormous consequences for our planet and it’s climate.
We dream about the issues that we mentioned being solved.
We think that the European perspective is similar to the Swedish one. Except perhaps the perspective of the less fortunate nations. They might focus more on ending poverty and constructing a functional society for themselves.

All generations had its problems ...
We in the Millennial generation are quite different from the Baby Boomers and from the Generation X. I would say we are somewhere in between. The hard-working and ambitious attitude of the Baby Boomer, and the more rebellious and laid back attitude, makes the Millennial generation end up somewhere in between. While the Baby Boomers followed the rules, Generation X broke them, and the Millennial generation rewrites them. We are like a new version of the Baby Boomers, but more modern and less family-oriented.
We in the Millennial generation have a lot of problems. All generation had their problems, but I would dare to say that ours has the worst problems.
